E Ba Mi Yin Jesu

E ba mi yin Jesu,

E ba mi gb'Oluwa ga

E ba mi yin Jesu,

E ba mi gb'Oluwa ga

Iyanu lohun t'Oluwa se

Laye mi o, mo dupe

Iyanu lohun t'Oluwa se

Laye mi o, mo dupe

Jesus gba mi la, mo yege

P.S: I watched this song on TV in the 90s but I don't know the name of the singer. She had a pillbox hat on in the video and was on low cut. Some told me it was Bola Are before, but I am not sure she was the one and I don't think she was the one. This woman's singing style was different from Bola Are's own.

I believe older Yoruba brethren should know her name. Kindly drop the name in the comment if you do.

Jesu Lo Ni Ki N Jo

Jesu lo ni ki n jo, mo jo

Jesu lo ni ki n yọ, mo yọ

Oke iṣoro niwaju mi o, o ti wo

Ọrẹ ẹlẹṣẹ lo ni ki n jo, mo jo

Translation

It's Jesus that said I should dance, I dance

It's Jesus that said I should rejoice, I rejoice

The mountain of trouble before me has fallen

It's the Friend of Sinners that said I should dance, I dance
